Ever dreamt of being financially free?
I’m sure we all have.
The thing is, it’s not easy. (Then again, nothing ever is.)
According to various recent studies done in 2018:
- 78% of Americans are extremely or somewhat concerned about not having enough money for retirement (Northwestern Mutual, 2018)
- 42% of Americans have less than $10,000 saved for retirement (GoBankingRates, 2018)
- 21% of Americans have nothing saved (Northwestern Mutual, 2018)
As you can see, for many people, including over half of the United States of America’s population, being financially free and independent is something that probably only belongs in a dream.
But this is where we’re going to make a change.
You and I, we won’t allow that to happen to us.
We won’t let ourselves get stuck in the rat race for the rest of our lives, forever living paycheck-to-paycheck while having nothing saved up for emergencies.
We won’t let our children (if you ever choose to have children) suffer from the burden of taking care of us when we’re old.
We won’t let ourselves retire in misery after working hard for decades, only to have nothing but coins and dimes in our pockets.
No. We won’t let that happen to us.
We’re going to be financially free.
And the first step to that? Learning how to budget what you already have.
